ART + EDUCATION
With undergraduate degrees in Art Education and Graphic Design, I’ve spent over two decades teaching and developing art and design curriculum. I later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design with High Distinction, where my work focused on design thinking, user experience, and digital publishing.
I’m a graphic designer and art educator with a terminal degree in graphic design. In the classroom, I’ve been recognized with awards, including the Arizona Middle Level Association Teacher of the Year and the Arizona Technology in Education Alliance Exemplary Teacher Web Design Award.
My work focuses on creating digital experiences that are both functional and intentional. From early direction to final execution, I help shape ideas into thoughtful solutions by designing, advising, and building with purpose.

PROFICIENCY
My work in the education and design fields spans over two decades.
01. EDUCATION.
I have taught all grade levels in fine arts subjects, including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and graphic design. I am experienced with many online learning management systems and platforms, including Blackboard, GradPoint, Buzz, Moodle, and Canvas.
02. DESIGN.
I approach design work by understanding all aspects of the project and how it will serve the client. Several of my design projects include branding for businesses and organizations. It is important to me that the final product creates a meaningful connection to the mission and values behind the brand.
03. PUBLICATION.
I have designed several digital and print publications, including the text and illustration for The Workbench. My graduate thesis for my Master of Fine Arts degree at Liberty University included research on gamification and a visual solution that could motivate students to complete a skill tree by completing tasks in their online or in-person courses.
